AV people dressed like concert road crews give the profession a bad name. Our AV technicians will treat audiovisual work like the professional discipline it is. You’ll recognize us wearing dress pants, dress shoes, button-down shirts, jackets, ties and a name tag.

We provide exceptional service by listening to each guest’s needs, understanding what’s most important to them, and developing trust by proving we were great listeners.

Audiovisual equipment will be set-up in advance of every meeting. Guests won’t need to wait on us; we wait on them, before, during and after every meeting.

Mills James audiovisual technicians will skip the tech-speak and effectively communicate with guests in everyday language about their audiovisual needs. We understand what they mean when they say “spider phone” or “boomerang phone.” What we hear is “conference phone.”

At every special event or corporate meeting we service, our AV technicians will provide guests with a business card with a cell phone number so they can contact us directly, immediately. AV service isn’t a 9 to 5 business.

Our equipment is clean and attractive. Our cords are securely taped down. We make sure everything is skirted and neatly dressed.

It’s not just about our gear. If guests provide their own AV gear and something goes wrong, our technicians will try to solve their problems. We’ll assess the situation and give them our recommendation. Sometimes it’s as simple as changing their batteries or replacing a bad cable.​

We let guests know upfront of any AV price changes. They’ll know exactly what they’re being charged.

We respect the value of confidentiality and don’t share information with anyone else.
